form validation not working

I am having a problem with form validation in eCart 6. When failing to fill in one or more fields on the order form, then subsequently being prompted to fill them in, ONE of the fields that was filled out is lost every time, plus the date chosen via date-picker is also lost. I believe we fixed this before (but couldn't find anything to refer to in the thread), and I don't think I have done anything to change it, nevertheless it is not working. Attaching the page below. The form field in question is Left logo, and also date picker.

The URL of the page is: http://www.bandofhonor.com/bracelets_aluminum.php

On line 371 you can add the default value for the date field like:
value="<?php echo(ValidatedField("braceletsaluminum_024","boh_1_Date_Add")) ?>"

Unfortunately you can't remember file upload field values. For security reasons, browsers won't allow you to pre-fill an upload field value on page load.

Well we did have it working correctly where it did not lose that Left logo value. And it does hold on to all the other chosen fields. That is the only one that doesn't. I looked at all the code and couldn't find anything different in the validation for Left logo from that in color, size, inscription or right logo fields. This way it is possible for the customer to go round and round trying to add the order to the cart!

Not at all sure I know what you mean by file upload field values. Wasn't aware that we had any of those. Left logo is just a form choice like any of the others on the order form (very much like Right logo).

I see the problem.

The first argument in the strcmp() function has to match the value in the dropdown list.

So for example you have:

value="right: none" <?php if (!(strcmp("No logos"

it has to be:
value="right: none" <?php if (!(strcmp("right: none"

You should go through both lists and make sure they all match correctly. It looks like some options in the right logo are incorrect as well.

Thanks. Must've changed that at some point, although I don't remember doing that!
It works now...
