Issue with product installation

I purchased Powerstore and once I downloaded all of the files I using Windows explorer to transfer all my files to my server hosted by 1 & 1. All files were properly uploaded and I double checked by logging into there website and viewing my "webfiles". When I go to the directory i put them in I receive a 403-Error Forbidden: Access is Denied. I'm led to believe by the simple install instructions that this is all i need to do and the installation process should start, not give me an error. Is this a security issue with 1&1 or am I missing something?

BTW I did not use my index or default directory. I have a website that is up and running right now that I'm not planning on changing, just adding a link to the store with I was hoping would work. I added a new folder and named it "store" in my / directory, uploaded all files successfully, navigated to my site, ...rds.com/store/ and I received the above error.

I attached a photo of the errors I get on the screen when i type in www.......rds.com/store/install/index.php

If you look in the /install/ folder on the live site do you see the file wizard.php?

The error implies the upload didn't complete. If you post your US phone number or Skype contact information I could look into this with you in a screen sharing session. If you posted ftp information and a URL I could debug and fix it on my own.

Haha wow. Nailed it, the one file that I somehow glanced over. Now when I run it I get these two errors on the Server Diagnostic Check. Where in my Admin panel for 1&1 would I need to go to allow Powerstore permission to write? Do I just e-mail support to get them to install cURL to fix the other error I'm receiving.

Thanks for the reply Ray, greatly appreciated!

Two separate issues. Contact your hosting provider to install cURL. You can probably update the folder permissions yourself from the hosting control panel. They will usually have a file manager that allows you to update permissions.

I was able to change the permissions, never realized that option, thanks again Ray. I contacted 1&1 and am getting the cURL squared away. Thanks for your help. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on out.
