Custom region? is there a ready made solution for this else can a request a feature !!

If you see first half and second half of 1st attachment. Your code reading is a breeze.

I am looking for a way to draw a custom regions with custom label (see attached picture with IF ELSEIF ELSE picture). It's difficult to explain. IF you look at 2nd attached images, you will be able to make out what i am looking for.

Does someone know, how can i achieve this kind of visual help. I believe, this will help developers to understand the codes very easily, whether it's some one else's code or a decade old code!!

If there is no such kind of plugin, can i request WebAssist team for a feature request.
I would really appreciate feedback.

Thank you,
Sing

I'm not really sure what you are looking for here.

You have identified that using a php if ..else construct allows you to choose whether or not to show certain areas on the screen.

If you have a lot of if...else blocks, then consider using the switch statement instead, it improves readability and is easier.

RE: Custom region? is there a ready made solution for this else can a request a feature !!

Thank you for your quick response. I really appreciate it.

I am looking for a tool or utility which can define visual regions for code readability. If you see "IF statement " : in second half of the image you can see visual regions drawn while looking on dreamwever.

Is there a plugin or utility that is already there. If not, is or will web assist develop this kind of extension.
This will help developers understand the code without going through line by line code. Because visual region helper will show up the clues. Please see picture.

This is difficult and un easy to understand, please see. Please let me know if you need more info.

Thank you,
Sing
