Dynamic Dropdowns in CC

I'm going through the Getting started with Dynamic Dropdowns tutorial but don't see the "insert->Forms-> list/menu item. I'm using CC, did it's location change? thanks, Wyn Cole

In DW CC, it is:
Insert -> Forms -> Select

to insert a select list.

OK,

I got that, maybe I don't understand what I'm trying to do. I have created a form using Data Bridge and want some of the fields to use drop down lists. Let's say I want the Type field to be feed by the database or populated by a list from within the page. I don't see how this tutorial addresses that. I'll send the file so you can see what I'm talking about.

Thanks,
Wyn

to have the type filed fed from a database:

create a recordset for the table to use to populate the type field.

replace the type field with a select list, make sure to use the same name.

in the property inspector, click the dynamic button, and set the recordset to use to populate the list, and set the column to use for the value and the column to use for the label.

Dynamic button will not activate

I'm following you instructions but the Dynamic button is doing nothing. I'm assuming that the new "Select" List is to be selected when I open the Property Inspector.

If this doesn't work, can I achieve the same effect by populating the list values from the Properties Inspector?

Do you have the deprecated server behaviors extension installed?
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Deprecated-Server-Behaviors-for-Dreamweaver-Creative-Cloud

this needs to be installed for the Dynamic button to function.

I'll try that and get back to you.

Unexpected file format error

That doesn't seem to work either. I get a Unexpected File Format error.

Do I need MySQLi Server Behaviors installed as well?
