eComm with eCart 6 video

Hi guys,

The site says I should have free access to the video (http://www.webassist.com/product/ecommerce-webinar-2) with an eCart 6 purchase. It is only available as an upgrade in my account for $49?

you should be able to access the webinar on the eCart 6 download page.

open the eCart 6 download page and scroll to the webinars section for the link.

Thanks Jason,

I expected to find it in the same place as other purchased webinars in my account.

Videos not compatible with Safari?

I have the plugin installed and all the security settings as suggested.

The video uses Adobe Connect. I Find Adobe Connect is hit or miss with Safari, it works more reliably with Fire Fox.

No luck on two different computers with Safari, Chrome or Firefox ..... yet I use connect at least three times a week (since as long as I can remember) for other webinars without any issues at all.

Why were they recorded that they would have to be set to unsafe mode?

The Webinar Takes a little time to load, My Last test i clock it at taking 2 minutes. After the initial browser window opens, it should try opening the Adobe Connect window in a separate window. after that opens, it will need to download the webinar before it starts playing.

As for needing to run Adobe Flash in un-safe mode, that is not a matter of the way the recording was made, but rather a limitation to Flash in Safari. In safe mode, adobe Flash cannot access the connect add in. see the following quote from adobe:
http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_fp_safari_safe_mode

By default, Safari 6.1and later play rich-media content in Safe Mode. Safe Mode protects the user by restricting what can be done with content that you create in Adobe Flash. But, it also prevents some content from working correctly, such as installing AIR applications or Adobe Connect Add-in.
