Sticky Prev/Next buttons

Hi There,

My client has asked me if there's a way to automatically show both the pre/next buttons when an image is clicked. When he views the gallery on his iPad, he says that he can't access the Next/Prev options. Is there a way to make them show permanently on every device?

Just FYI, your index page does not use power gallery, this is using the All in One Banner rotator JQuery script.

i found the help documentation for it here:
http://www.sanders.uk.com/bannerRotator/____help.html#js_options

in the js options section. it mentions a autoHideNavArrows option.

i edited the script on the index page to add that option set to false:

<script type="text/javascript">
jQuery(function() {

jQuery('#allinone_bannerRotator_universal').allinone_bannerRotator({
skin: 'universal',
width: 960,
height: 450,
responsive:true,
thumbsWrapperMarginBottom:-35,
autoHideBottomNav:false,
showPreviewThumbs:false,
defaultEffect:'fade',
showCircleTimer:false,
responsiveRelativeToBrowser:false,
autoPlay:8,
autoHideNavArrows:false
});

});
</script>

to force the nav arrows to always show.

Gallery

Hi Jason,

Sorry, I think we're at crossed purposes. Please see PM

Sorry, the link you provided was for the main index page with no instructions that I should be looking elsewhere. With no indication that i should be looking at a different page, I assumed the main tindex page ou linked to was the problem page.

your gallery page uses the grid-lighbox gallery type. this uses the Slim Box JQuery plugin. Slim box does not offer an option for showing the next and previous links, but does offer way to use the keyboard for progressing through the slide show.

the next keys are the right arrow key and "n". the previous link key shortcut is the left arrow and the "p"

iPad accessible gallery

Hi Jason,

So, basically, the gallery is inaccessible on a mobile device?

I think that should be a major feature in any new version. In this day and age, it's an incredible oversight.

Best wishes
Andrew

if you bring up the key board on the mobile device you will be able to navigate the gallery.
