search to direct detail page

I created dataassist search & results page.

on search page there is only one field for entering artist name, then autocomplete help visitor choose artistname & then is taken to result page where artistname choosen is showed.
Everything works fine so far.
Result is always of one artist cause criteria choosen is "=" so then name must match & will match as visitor choose from dropdown autocomplete.

Now as result is only one artist, can it be taken directly to artist page (detail page created earlier) when matches exact name?

artist-details.php is seperate page created.

this would require hand coding to accomplish that is not supported.

you would need to check the number of records returned, if it equals 1, then use the header redirect function to pass to the details page using the ID from the recordset.
