Are replace into commands supported with your MySQLi extension?

Are replace into commands supported with your MySQLi extension?

I'm using your MySQLi extension on CS4, and so far it's been very good. I'm trying to do a "replace into" query, but it's not working. Is there any way to do this, or are only update and insert commands supported?

Is there any way to see the finished SQL statement that MySQLi sends to the MySQL DB for the insert, update, and delete statements?

Thanks,
Chad

can you give an example of the SQL statement you are trying to run?

It will probably need to be hand coded, but our library can still help.

at this time, only recordset statements can be displayed using:

<?php echo($recordsetName->debugSQL()); ?>

where recordsetName is the name of the recordset. Displaying the insert / update / delete statements is not supported. we are looking to add this as a feature in the next version.

Hi, Jason,

I was basically being lazy using the replace into command. I have a sports site, and unofficial stats get entered right after the game, but then official stats can be entered later. I use the same page and code with the replace into to do the initial insert command for the unofficial stats, then again for the "update" of the official stats.

I've replace by checking if the stats for the game are entered, and if they're not use an insert command, and if they do exist, then use the update command.

No need to modify the app or add a feature for me.

Thanks,
Chad
