change menu for powerstore 4.5

change menu for powerstore 4.5

To change the menu (relabel 'Product' to 'XXXX'), we understand that we have to make the change in "webassist/plugins/main_menu/menu.php file". Is this under the "install file"?

We have replaced the word "Products" with "XXXX" in the code '<li class="parent top"><span><a href="../../../products_results.php">Products</a></span>' and upload the menu.php file but to no avail.

Two question
1. May we know why it does not work
2. besides the menu.php file, are there anything else we have to change?

Thanks,

No it is not under the install folder. at the root of the Power Store files, find the webassist/plugins/main_menu/menu.php file

1) if the edits are not taking, it sounds like you are editing the menu file in the install directory which is not the correct on.

2) No, there is not anything else you need to change.

Jason - thank you.

But I cannot find a 'webassist' folder within the overall powerstore folder. The only one I have found is the one in the 'install' folder. Am I missing something?

Please advise on the location of this folder.

are you looking on the live server?

when you run the installer on the live sever, it moves the /install/webassist folder to /webassist

if you are looking in your local copy of the ship file, it will be under the install directory, but on the live server it will be at the power store root.
