cms

I want to create a cms so my client can go in create a page based off the template which I understand however, is there a way to add a security feature to the page they generate so that only people who log in have access? I know I can set it up locally but I want them to have that capability when the client creates a page off the template. Thanks!

**update question
So I just converted my DW templates to a theme. All seem to go well however, whenever I click on a menu item after it converts it looks for the page(s) in root/template/index.php instead of root/index.php in which case it isnt there. I figure I need to go somewhere and change the path? When I look at the DW template the paths still point to the root?

Thanks!
