eCart error message

I'm getting an error message while trying to edit an eCart object in Dreamweaver 2014.1 using eCart v5.0.7. I am attaching a screen shot.
Here is line 79 of that file:
return ((parseInt(dreamweaver.appVersion) >= 6) && (navigator.platform.toLowerCase().indexOf("mac") >= 0));

attached is an updated copy of the WA eCart Shared.js file.

locate the users configuration folder, for details, see the common installation issues page:
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Common-installation-issues

in the users configuration folder, go to:
shared/WebAssist/eCart

and over write the WA eCart Shared.js file in that location with the new one.

make sure DW is closed while doing this.

not there yet

OK Jason, I think we're making progress. I'm still getting an error message, but it's further down the code. See attached.

I initially missed that this was DW 2014.1. eCart 5 is not supported under that version of DW.

you have 2 options:

1) Install DW CC, see this blog post for details on installing older DW versions with the CC Membership

2) Upgrade to eCart 6 wich has been upgraded to support DW 2014.1

still issues

OK. I'm running Dreamweaver CC - and still getting the error message (we're back to line 79). I did make sure to replace the WA eCart Shared.js file with the new one you attached earlier in the Dreamweaver CC shared/WebAssist/eCart etc. I also tried with the previous js file and got the same message.

OK Jason, eCart 6 is up and running. I was able to run the eCart object, but got this message when trying to run the Checkout Wizard:

reset the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

Then close Dreamweaver and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

I reset the Work Space, quit Dreamweaver and deleted the MacFileCache-074B9578.dat file. The error box came up again. I then uninstalled eCart as well as Data Bridge, reinstalled, and deleted the MacFileCache-074B9578.dat file. The error box came up again.
