Stored procedures MySQLi

I am in the process of upgrading a site from ASP to PHP, I have installed the My SQLi server behaviour on Deamweaver CC. I want to run a stored procedure in my MySQL database but the stored procedures do not show up in the advanced recordset creation window. They also do not show up in the Database window; it is as if there were none in the database but when I look at the database in workbench they are clearly there. Could you kindly help.

The MySQLi extension doesn't actually support stored procedures, I will add a feature request to have our engineers look into this for a future upgrade.

Stored procedures MySQLi

Okay thank you for your reply. Could you maybe give me an example of the code I would need run the stored procedures with php. The stored procedure is called sp_update_packed_products and I need to pass var_id to it from a recordset. My database connect is called dmbc_database. I will then modify this to access my other stored procedures.

Kind regards.

honestly, I a m not familiar enough with using stored procedures in php to be able to give a code example.

I dod a search on google for:
php mysql stored procedures tutorial

and this is the first result:
http://www.sitepoint.com/stored-procedures-mysql-php/

it looks like that should be helpful.
