Recordset Edits

I see there were a few people with this problem but when I try to edit a SQL statement I seem to get a new one.

Editing this:
mysql_select_db($database_Chairs, $Chairs);
$query_WADAproducts = "SELECT product_id, name, weight, list_price, image FROM products ORDER BY product_id DESC";
$query_limit_WADAproducts = sprintf("%s LIMIT %d, %d", $query_WADAproducts, $startRow_WADAproducts, $maxRows_WADAproducts);
$WADAproducts = mysql_query($query_limit_WADAproducts, $Chairs) or die(mysql_error());
$row_WADAproducts = mysql_fetch_assoc($WADAproducts);

To This:

mysql_select_db($database_Chairs, $Chairs);
$query_WADAproducts = sprintf("SELECT products.product_id, products.name, products.weight, products.list_price, products.image, pmap.product_id, pmap.mc FROM products, pmap WHERE pmap.mc = %s ORDER BY products.product_id DESC", GetSQLValueString($Parammc_WADAproducts, "text"));
$query_limit_WADAproducts = sprintf("%s LIMIT %d, %d", $query_WADAproducts, $startRow_WADAproducts, $maxRows_WADAproducts);
$WADAproducts = mysql_query($query_limit_WADAproducts, $Chairs) or die(mysql_error());
$row_WADAproducts = mysql_fetch_assoc($WADAproducts);

It just inserts it as a new query. I saw you sent a file to some one to fix it but that is 2 years old. Is there a fix or setting for this?

I'm not familiar with the problem. What version of Dreamweaver are you using?

If you send me a copy of the file and the exact steps to reproduce I can do some testing. It may be a bug in the version of Dreamweaver you are using.

To troubleshoot the cause, we will need to be able to test in a similar set up to yours. to do that we need to know the following:

What is your version of Dreamweaver?

What is your OS?

What extensions including the version numbers are installed?

It sounds like the steps you are taking to produce the problem is to add a where clause with a dynamic variable to an existing recordset?

This is a periodic bug that occurs in the Dreamweaver Recordset dialog.

Normally this doesn't happen if you restart DW before editing the recordset.

When it does happen, you will need to manually delete the duplicate code. It's not really an issue we can fix since it is happening in the DW Recordset dialog box.
