mysqli connector

I have Dreamwaver CC and a mamp 3.05 installed on my iMac 27" 2013 ,model. I have the the server ,model setup as php/ mysq and my page type is phpl. Everything is as it should be. I keep getting and works fine with the desecrated extension in dreamweaver, but when I try to define a db connection it only tells me "a undefined error has occurred." when I test the connection. I have already removed the deprecated server behaviors extension.

You should not remove the depricated server behaviors extension. It is necessary for mySQLi server behaviors to function properly.

That error is usually an issue with your site definition, more specifically the url of the site specified as the Testing Server
