email validation

Thread began 11/05/2014 5:41 am by s.joiner74419001 | Last modified 11/05/2014 11:32 am by Jason Byrnes | 176 views | 1 replies |

email validation

I have created a custom form that has three fields - "First name" - 'Surname' - 'Email'. I have applied the WA server validation with validation Show If server behaviours. I now need to validate the email field so only valid email addresses are accepted, with an alternative error message that appears when the entered value is not accepted. How can I adjust the code for this?

Edit the server validation, add a validation condition for the email filed, and use the email address validation type.

add your error message to the page, then select it, and apply a validation show if behavior to trigger the message if the email validation fails.
