Group Email
I really need to have the ability to send a group email from a dynamic table of emails displayed from a MySQL database. Will the next Data Bridge / MySQLi version offer such a group email capability?

The Current version of Data Bridge allows this.
Create a recordset to return the email addresses to send the email to.
in the Universal Email server behavior, click the To button to access the advanced to settings and set the to address to use a recordset loop.
The "Recordset Loop" button is greyed out and I cannot click on it (only the "Enter Value" button is clickable). Is there a procedure I must follow to make the button active?
You need to create a recordset first.
NOTE: Data Bridge is not compatible with MySQLi at this time, so you will need to use a standard MySQL recordset.
Please be more specific, what is not working?
Sending the email?
The email body?
instead of pasting the code into the message, please attach the php page.
i will also need to see the webassist/email/waue_admin_subscriber_accnt_emails_1.php page and the email template page if you are using one.
I'm sending as an attachment "archive-2.zip" that contains the two requested files.
What is not working is that clicking on the group email button does not open my email client (Outlook) with the recipient line populated with the grouped emails - which is what I was expecting. Instead, the emails are sent out without any notification at all.
Do I have to write some sort of acknowledgement that the group emails went out? Doesn't Universal Email echo some sort of confirmation?
Universal Email sends the email without using your email client,
if you want to show a message that the email has been sent, create a page with that message on it and in the universal email behavior, set the go to page to redirect to the that page after sending the email.
Yup... that's what I've discovered and that's what I did.
Thanks, Jason, for your usual quick response.
