Issues with MySQLi database connection

Thread began 10/20/2014 2:58 pm by arule414626 | Last modified 10/20/2014 3:54 pm by Jason Byrnes | 1026 views | 1 replies |

Issues with MySQLi database connection

As you can see from my screenshot, the mySQLi connection is successful when I test the connection but when I go to my pages I get the following errors:

Warning: mysql_select_db() expects parameter 2 to be resource, object given in /hermes/bosoraweb136/b1865/ipg.cpschallengesoftware/admin/index.php on line 95 Warning: mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, object given in /hermes/bosoraweb136/b1865/ipg.cpschallengesoftware/admin/index.php on line 99

When I recreate the pages using a standard mySQL connection, the pages work fine. I'm really wanting to change over to MySQLi. Any ideas?

Data Assist is not compatible with MySQLi at this time.

We are working on updating the extensions to work with MySQl, but that will take some time.
