What is the Password Validation Criteria

What is the standard password criteria in Security Assist? I have had a few people say their password is invalid on the registration form where I have the password validation set up. What does the password field require as a default. There is no way to modify or know what it really requires. I want to be able to tell people min and max characters and can they enter special characters, if so what can they or can they not enter.

the normal password strength is a minimum of 6 characters with 3 letters and 2 numbers

when running the security assist wizard, you can change this on the manage pages tab in the field settings section.

Is there a way to change that after the security assist wizard is run?

Edit the pattern on the password field to change the client side validation, and edit the server validation server behavior to chnage the criteria for server validation.
