dbase not connected

I had to move my site to another provider. Now the admin is not working. After I login it says that there is no connection with the dbase. In the webadmin the dbase is in place. What can I do?

edit the Connection/PowerStoreConnection.php file to use the correct details for connecting to the new hosts mysql server.

Hi James,

Thanks and I did that but are getting the answer that username and password aren't correct. In the file you mentioned and the dbase it is the same. Tried some different combination but it didn't work.
What can I do next?

if the user name and password are not being accepted, and you are positive they are correct, you should contact your host for help. It may be that the mySQL host name you entered is not correct or a number of other factors that would need to be corrected on the host end.

Hi Jason,

What other factors are you talking about?
Another site with webassist runs smoothly on this VPS platform (www.e-learning-abio.nl), so I don't think this is a serverside installation problem.

The host will be able to answer the question of why the user name and password being used are not being accepted.

I have no way of knowing what combination of User, Password, Hostname and database name should be used, but the host will be able to help with that information.
