Data Bridge and Design Extender won't activate with Dreamweaver CS6 on Windows7

Just got new computer with DWCS6 plus added latest Data Bridge and Design Extender WA extensions but all WA extensions do not open (not even asked for serial number). Get "error 3" trying to open some. Dreamweaver working OK and talking to remote server. Tried a complete reinstall of Dreamweaver (all data flushed by hard disc format) and fresh download of extensions. Tried repeatedly to remove/reinstall/delete WinFileCache.dat as well. My account seems to be in order. Any ideas?

Sounds like the web Assist installer did not open to finish the installation.

after installing the extensions, when you open DW, it should launch theWebAssist installer to complete the installation.

if the WebAssist installer does not open automatically, open a php page to force it to launch.

Try uninstalling the extensions, then installing them again.

and make sure the WA installer opens when you open DW. after the WebAssist installer completes, make sure to restart DW.

Hi Jason. Tried all that 3 times. When trying to open some extensions I get the Java Script error 3 "unable to open configuration.js" message (see attached).

Hi Jason,

The WA files are installing in a location on my computer that the WA extensions can't find them, hence the error messages. If you could point me to where the route addresses are in the various files I can manually repair them after a fresh install. Or Skype me on the details below.

Sorry, i did not see your reply.

the extension files should be installing to the users configuration folder, see this page for details on locating that folder:
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Common-installation-issues

updates to Data bridge and Design Extender have been released since you started this thread, please try installing the new versions after uninstalling the older ones from the extension manager.

Tried uninstalling everything, fresh DW and extensions install and then repairing folders, routes etc with no joy except stopped the error messages. The problem seems to be the WebAssist menu in DW isn't pointing to the right files to make any WA extensions to open.
