Why am I receiving a Certificate Error when attempting to process a PayPal transaction?

I was testing our site's shopping cart process the other day. Everything appeared to be running fine up to the point when processing the transaction while on PayPal's site. After I logged into my PayPal account and clicked on the "Continue" button to move forward to processing my purchase, the site redirected to a error.

The error reads, "Certificate Error: Navigation Blocked." When I examined the URL, it revealed this, "https://www.hrconsortium.net/pp_confirm.php?token=EC-0KB49562UM502012R&PayerID=4BCBA52X55TAC." However, I immediately noticed that the URL returned an "https://" address. Our site does not have an SSL certificate installed, not did it ever when we processed out site visitor's online transactions. (this was the error returned from using Internet Explorer).

When I ran the transaction again using another browser (Firefox), it returned a similar error and would not allow the PayPal transaction to continue.

I also checked to make sure that my API credentials were correct within the gateways.php file. They were.

This is the first time I have experienced this issue using eCart6. I was an eCart5 user prior and did not have any issues when setting up PayPal and my shopping cart.

If you wish to repeat the error, you can go to http://www.hrconsortium.net/hrstore.php to attempt a transaction. Just know that you will not be charged due to the error. You can use the guest account login credentials (provided on the login page) to move beyond the login check.

If you require anything further, please let me know.

Thank you for your time and attention.

on the confirm page, find the following 2 lines:

$WA_PP_ECO_Set_params[0][$nextIndex] = "ReturnURL";
$WA_PP_ECO_Set_params[1][$nextIndex] = "https://www.hrconsortium.net/pp_confirm.php";

and edit the return address to not use an HTPPS address
