clear sessions on carts

Hi Jason, I have two carts setup on one website. One uses Strip checkout which you helps be get working. (thanks for that). The other uses paypal.

The only problem I have is OrderIDs and order details getting overridden in the orders table. HI have read the posts but I a little confused. I would like to clear all sessions created for the user when they click checkout on the confirm page if using paypal or press the checkout button on the checkout page if using strip.

If I am right, the paypal cart never loads the success page. It goes straight to Paypal and does not return to success. Putting the clear session code on the success page will not do anything.

For strip I think we can put the clear code on the success page.

Could you help with the paypal option?

Thanks

Jon

Using paypal they should still be returned to the success page.

Are you using PayPal standard?
for paypal standard, there is hidden element on the confirm page that you use to set the return URL:
<input type="hidden" name="return" id="return" value="http://www.mydomain.com/success.php" />
