DW CS6 JS error since install of MySQLi

Hi,

Since installing MySQLi extensions I keep getting an error related to RSSUpdate.js. I have then disabled the extension and restarted DW. WebAssist ran through an uninstall function and I restarted DW. I now have a number of errors appearing on starting DW and I am now unable to access the server behaviours. This isn't making happy as my DW setup was running perfectly and now I can't really use it for dynamic work. I have attached screenshots of the errors.

Can you advise what actions I need to take to resolve this?

Thanks
Nick

It looks like the WA Installer has not run to complete the installation.

In Dreamweaver, reset the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

Then Close Dreamweaver and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Common-installation-issues

Open the extension manager, uninstall the MySQLi extension and re install it.

Open DW Again, and make sure the WebAssist installer runs to complete the installation, if it does not start automatically open a php page to trigger it.

once it completes, make sure to restart DW.

Hi Jason,

That has removed the other errors, however I get this one as seen in the screenshot. Could you advise the next steps?

Thanks
Nick

Go to WebAssist -> Preferences in the Memento section Set the Show in dreamweaver option to Never.

In the RSS Section, check the option to disable all RSS Feeds and Check For Updates only when Memento opens.

Both of the following have been tried but nothing happens. FYI the options are not greyed out, its just that nothing happens when clicked:

1) Edit -> Webassist Preferences
2) Window -> Webassist Memento

Note that the error from the screenshot above appears on starting DW CS6.

Thanks
Nick

What extensions do you have installed including version numbers.

I have quite a few installed. I have added the list in the private message section.

These extensions:
Dynamic Dropdowns. Version 2.7.5
Pro Maps for Google. Version 1.0.7

are not compatible with Dreamweaver CS6

this extensions:
PayPal ecommerce toolkit. Version 4.5.4

conflicts with the WebAssist Free Tools extension.

Free tools contains the functionality of the eCommerce toolkit.

uninstall the extensions, then install only these 2:
WebAssist Free Tools. Version 1.1.1
MySQLi Server Behaviors. Version 1.0.2

they are the only 2 that you have that are compatible with Dreamweaver CS6.
