powerstore 4 5 support mysqli

Hi
now retired due to illness but an existing client is running a v4.5 power store.

Will this continue to function ie does it support mysqli or does it need to be upgraded to mysqli because mysql is depracated?

thanks

Ian

Power Store 4.5 does not have support for MySQLi

To be clear, MySQL is still supported in current PHP versions. it is still available for use, you will just need to set the error reporting level to not include deprecated messages.

Not until PHP 6 will mySQL be removed. deprecated is not the same as removed altogether.
