Is there any chance that a poor internet connection / slow internet could cause this? I can't see the images in the directory or anything on the ERA site. I logged into another CMS site and could get to the upload and see the images but it would not upload it. I could select it and then nothing would happen. I have had customers complain about this and I have not been able to reproduce until today.

What browser are you using?

The file manager has some issues working properly in IE 11, if you are using IE 11, i suggest using a different browser.

I have tried this in Fire Fox and am not able to reproduce.

It is posible network connect speed plays a factor.
