mysql vs mysqli

I believe I have the latest versions of your software. When I attempt to build a CRUD interface in dreamweaver to one of my test tables I see the communications definition uses mysqli. But, all the other calls use mysql. Am I missing a parmater definition where I ask webassist to use mysqli instead of the former? Is mysql the standard when you generate the code? Sorry if I'm asking a silly question. New to the forum.

At this time, the only extension that uses MySQLi is the MySQLi extension.

The next project on the block is to upgrade data Bridge to use MySQLi, we will then go through eCart and design Extender.

For now, though, Data Bridge, eCart, and Design Extender still use MySQL.

We don't have a time frame yet for when the upgrades will be available.

mysqli recordsets

When I attempt to use the interface to create a new mysqli recordset, the interface is not changing the parameters as I interact with the tables. No matter what I do, the intial select statement remains. Am I doing something wrong? Joe

exactly what changes are you making in the recordset, screen shots to demonstrate would be helpful.
