Client Side Filtering of MYSQLI RecordSet

I'm trying to figure out how to allow my end users the ability to filter the results from my MYSQLI recordset. The left side of the page has a vertical menu of categories with the recordset on the right. I've researched ajax and jquery options but it's difficult to understand how to accomplish this with the Webassist coding? and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

the general gist of using ajax is:
you links trigger a jquery function on click, in the onclick function the category ID is passed.

the jquery function calls another page where there is a recordset that uses the passed category ID to look up the categories, and on that page, there is a repeat region to display the information for the selected category.

the jquery function uses innerHTML to populate a div on your page with the information returned from the other page.

This works the same with webassist code as it would with any other code.

If you need help setting this up, we can help you write the jquery code in a premiere support appointment:

Mission accomplished

Sorry, I should have updated this that same night. You are absolutely correct, I was trying to accomplish this from within the Webassist wizards and not from the inner HTML. I did use a jquery function that placed a class on the div tag for the repeat region. Then I attached a binding with the associated category and set that as the class. Worked like a charm. Appreciate the response though!
