even though I have the correct setting in the css I am unable to get the thumbnails to crop from centre they are always distorted

even though I have the correct setting in the css I am unable to get the thumbnails to crop from centre they are always distorted

I would like the thumbnails to not distort but to crop from centre of box

What size are the original images versus the size they are being displayed as?

What version of Power Gallery are you using? In power gallery 2, you can edit the gallery settings to change the image sizes.

Can you provide a link where i can see the problem?

Hi it is the latest version of power gallery as I only downloaded it a week ago

It looks like you downloaded Power Gallery 1, not power gallery 2.

In Power Gallery 2, there is an option in the gallery admin to edit the gallery settings and change the image sizes.

changing the CSS does not change the image size that is used for the thumbnails.

By default the thumbnails will be created at 60 pixels, looks like you change the CSS to display the thumbnails at 80 pixels, this is just enlarging the 60pixels images that where created, you need to use the gallery admin to change the settings for the image size for that gallery.
