where to start

I have a website that needs a product catalog with sections and i am going to use the ecart checkout software.

I have two databases already created for me by using the powerCMS tool now i am wondering if i should set up a brand new database for this project in dreamweaver or should i integrate the new tables into one of the pre-existing databases?

Also i do not have a database made for my products since i don't know how, is this something that will automatically be set up during the data assist search wizard or should i should i use the one you guys have available and modify it for my need?

What tutorial should i start on to get this project fired up?

I am imagining i would not use the PowerCMSconnection data base but instead i would go with the one that i created and dump the new tables from my eCommerce project into it?

You can either use an existing Database, or create a new one, it is entirely up to you.

There is a tutorial here that will help you:

in this tutorial the eCommerce database is used.
