Nico

Mysqli is including login logout etc features. Currently building an administrator system using security assist. Which one should I use?

I am bit confused now since I already build the access logic using security assist. Noticed that MySQLi is including some of theese features. Is there a way that both (Security Assist and MySQLi extension) can work together? Or should I just ignore MySQLi extension and keep working with Security Assist? Thank you

If you started with Security Assist, keep using Security Assist.

The login and logout features of the MySQLi extension are updated versions of the built in DW user authentication behaviors that use the MySQLi driver instead of the MySQL driver.

We will be updating Security Assist in Data Bridge to use the mySQLi drivers in the near future.

No, you still need to use MySQLi Server Behaviors to use the mysqli code base. Security Assist will use standard mysql.
