Using Data Bridge 1.1.9 I want to have a user return an attachment using a web form through email.

Using Data Bridge 1.1.9, I would like directions on having a user fill out a web form and submit a response with an attachment using email. There does not seem to be a current single solution/tutorial in your current forums.

The solutions i have looked at refer to older revisions and do not cover the current user interface of 1.1.9.

Create a php page with a form on it.
Insert -> Forms -> Form

Add the needed form elements using the insert -> Form menu

for the attachment, add a file field.

after adding the form elements, double check the form tag to make sure the forms encoding type is set to mutipart/form-data

Now add universal email:
WebAssist -> Create Email Message

for the body, select the option to use a file to manage the email, this will create an email tempalte that will automaticlyt loop through the form fields and add them to the message.

for the attachment, click the paper clip icon in UE to access the attachment settings, choose the Submitted file option on the attachments tab of the UE behavior? and select the file field.

Jason,
Thank you for your response. I went back in and i was able to figure out what i was doing wrong.

I did not bind the value to the name i assigned the file name. It then appeared in the attachment section of the email portion of the UI.

Another issue that i am finding is that when i try to create multiple file uploads in the form field is that they are not available for me to select under email attachments and when i try to select finish DW will crash periodically.

to add multiple attachments, you need to add multiple files fields to the form.

make sure each file field is inside the form tag, and use a unique name for each one.
