Store Activation

I want to activate my store under www.bettencourtparts.com instead of www.bettencourtparts.cafecommerce...........The domain / SSL tab says the domain is in use but it is not. How to resolve??

can you be more specific please?

What exactly is the error you are getting?

It may be that the domain is already in use, you may have to log into your Dreamhost control panel to free the domain.

How do I "free the domain"? It is not being used for anything but email addresses.

Dreamhost does not know what you mean by "free the domain". I understood my Café Commerce website was to work within my Dreamhost hosting. I am billed through Dreamhost.

In the Dreamhost control panel, there is a section to assign the domains. The Error you are getting means that the Domain is already assigned, and the assignment needs to be cleared.
