PayPal Advanced No Feedback from PayPal Frame.

Using PayPal Advanced, we have had quite a few customers submit multiple payments because they think nothing happened after submitting their payment information to PayPal. It seems that even if PayPal successfully charges the credit card they are not being taken to the checkout_succesfull.php page right away, if at all and they are re-submitting the form.

Any suggestions?

on the confirm page, look for the line that sets the return URL session, and make sure it uses a full URL to the HTTPS address for the success page:

$_SESSION['PP_PayAdv_Success'] = "https://yourdomain/checkout_success.php";

It uses the full URL with https

$_SESSION['PP_PayAdv_Success'] = "https://xxxxxxxx.com/checkout_success.php";

Most transactions go through. 20% don't complete.

Most likely domain switching on the transactions that don't go through.

if they start the order using the www address for your site, when redirected to the non www address for the site it will fail since that would be considered a separate domain.

you can use htaccess to force all traffic to use the www or non www address for your site:
