UE greyed out after installing & activating

I installed the latest extension for Universal Email and it is greyed out in the Dreamweaver menu. I've even gone back and re-installed the older version, and still it's greyed out.

I think the older version was ok before i tried to upgrade. I thought i'd get the latest extension before applying it to a new project.

I'm using DW3 on a MAC OS 10.5.8

I've tried everything i know to do. And i may be missing something very silly, but i need someone to tell me what it is.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

UE not for Dreamweaver CS3 for MAC?

I have not gotten a response to my earlier post about UE being greyed out after installation and activation. Reading the Help documentation, I thought i saw that the requirements say it is for DW MX & DW 8. But now i can't even find that information. That information may have been on the Adobe Exchange for this extension, now that i think of it.

So, is there a problem with the version of DW, as to whether i can use this or not?

This extension has had several updates since i bought it, but none of them respond to what i'm doing.

Hoping someone out there can help.
Thanks.

My apologies for the delayed response. Our business hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm PST (GMT -8).

In order to use Universal Email in a Dreamweaver site you must make sure the following has been done:
1. Create a site in Dreamweaver including the local info and testing server.
2. For the testing server you will need to specify the server model or language you will be working in. You will also need to have the access portion specified.
3. Open up a page that matches the server model you choose for the testing server and save this page to the site.
4. With the page open you can use the Universal Email server behavior.
