won't go to install page

won't go to install page

I am installing a new store and need to run the install for it. I know the program is supposed to jump to install automatically the first time you navigate to the page but it isn't doing that. From prior experience I know I can get there manually by adding an extension to the site address but I can't figure out what that extension is. I think it would be something like http://mystorename.com/install.php but this isn't working. Dreamhost is my provider.

Thanks,

David

depends where you uploaded the power store files to your site.

if you uploaded them to a subdirectory of the site, you will need to browse to that subdirectory.

for example, if you upload the power store files to the site in a subdirectory named "powerstore", you would start the intallation by browsing to:

http://mystorename.com/powerstore

or directly to the install directory:
http://mystorename.com/powerstore/install

Also, make sure that there is not an installed.txt file in the Connection folder of power store.
