Setting Paypal express checkout landing page to default to Login

Hi,

I need to set my default PayPal landing page to Login, at the moment when the user reaches PayPal they are asked for Billing Info I want them to be asked to login first

How can I do this, my cart was built using eCart but on the express checkout gateway.. thanks

The paypal landing page does not have any settings that can be changed.

by default is will allow the customer to checkout using a credit card, there is a link to login to the paypal account if the user would like to checkout using paypal.

Thank you for your reply.

That is what I thought, however I received this message from PayPal themselves.

On PayPal login page, “Pay with a debit or credit card” panel is open as default.

Solution: do NOT set landing page = “billing”. Leave it as blank.

I have tried a few things but I thought that the product may have created an area of code I need to change or perhaps you may have an idea.

Thanks

didn't realize that could be changed

in the file:
WA_eCart/PP_ECO_Scripts/PP_ECO_PHP.php

look for 2 instances of:
"<LandingPage>Billing</LandingPage>";

and change it to:
"<LandingPage></LandingPage>";
