multiple super administrator

Can I setup more than one super administrator? Is a super admin the only user base that can update password(s)? It appears that a standard user can not update their own password, is this correct? Thank you.

There can be only one Super Administrator in Power CMS.

It is correct that only the Super Administrator can update passwords.

I really need more than just me.... Is there a specific table in the database that I can manually add another super administrator? Only the super administrator can add/edit users as well correct?

Power CMS does not support multiple Super Administrator accounts. there can be only one super admin account.

Wow, that is information somewhere that I missed and is a big deal. As the web designer I want to hand this CMS over to the client but may need access as the super admin at times. Is there away to switch between accounts? Can I access a config file? How do I reassign the super admin to another user? Is this feature ever going to be available?

I just setup a standard account as a test and see that as a standard user you can not even edit their own password... I am not sure how I have missed this before as I have used this, along with many of your other products, for a long time. Do you have any suggestions?

I guess I just figured out the simple answer - make a generic Super Admin account and give it to whomever needs it. Not ideal, but I guess it will work for now.

Only one super admin account can be created.

the super admin username and password are stored in the WA settings table.

The Super Admin is the only user that can create new administrators or update passwords.

if you need multiple people to be able to access the site as super admin, they will need to share the one super user.

if you want to access the site as a standard admin, create a standard admin account and log in using that account.
