Shipping and billing addresses incorrect when transferred to paypal standard same problem Sam Barnhart ecart 5

I need the billing information to be transferred to paypal standard when credit card details are shown not the shipping address. I have given the address_override a '0' value which allows a separate postal address to be added by the buyer if required. Also is it possible to add a company name to be carried over to the paypal standard address or is this not possible with the standard checkout.

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.

no, paypal standard wont accept a company field.

to pass the billing details to paypal, edit the confirm page to use the billing sessions instead of the shipping sessions in the hidden elements that pass to paypal, for example::

change:
<input type="hidden" name="first_name" id="first_name" value="<?php echo((isset($_POST["shipping_firstname"]))?$_POST["shipping_firstname"]:"") ?>" />

to:
<input type="hidden" name="first_name" id="first_name" value="<?php echo((isset($_POST["firstname"]))?$_POST["firstname"]:"") ?>" />

Hi Jason

Thank you this all worked fine after making those changes.
However I now have another problem with the confirm page, getting the following errors.

Strict Standards: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'UTC' for 'GMT/0.0/no DST' instead in /homepages/X/dxxxxxxxxx/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXX.websitehome.co.uk/CSDLimited/confirm.php on line 203

Warning: mysql_select_db() expects parameter 2 to be resource, string given in /homepages/X/dxxxxxxxxx/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXX.websitehome.co.uk/CSDLimited/confirm.php on line 213

Warning: mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, string given in /homepages/X/dxxxxxxxxx/htdocs/XXXXXXXXXX.websitehome.co.uk/CSDLimited/confirm.php on line 247

Any help with this would be appreciated.

for the first error:
this error means that the date.timezone is not set in the servers php.ini file:

datetime.configuration.php#ini.date.timezone

you will need to contact the host to have them correct the issue

the other 2 errors indicate that there is a problem with the connection file making a connection to the database. double check the connection to the database and that the database contains the orders and order details tables.
