500 Internal Server Error when trying to preview or clicking link to the gallery

I installed the software fine and have a gallery with a picture in it, however, I tried to Tree view the gallery I am getting a 500 server error with links that do nothing when you click them. See: http://sq-1design.com/POWERgallery/galleries/grid_lightbox/index.php?gallery=1&theme=light# I have used this software for clients for years and have never experienced this issue.

this was a permissions issue.

i used FileZilla to change the permissions of the POWERgallery/gallery folder and all files and folders under it to 755 to correct the problem.
