Customising the CSS

Is it safe to manually edit the eCart stylesheets?

I'm concerned that if I open up one of the eCart wizards then, like CSSMenuWriter, the CSS styling will be wiped.

Thank you,
NJ

rather than edit the css files created by the wizards which may get overwritten if you run the wizards again, you should create your own css file, and add the classes you wish to over ride there.

as long as the css link is added after the original style sheet in your page, your style will over ride the original one.

Phewwff!

Thank you for that advice Jason. I would have been really miffed to have the wizard overwrite my CSS changes! :(

It would be nice if you could save your CSS changes as a template in eCart as I often disregard the preset templates and buttons when using it. That way they wouldn't be overwritten when opening up the wizards. Maybe a feature request for future releases?

Thank you
NJ
