Transferring existing Power CMS site to Power CMS of new host

We have taken over support and hosting for a client who had their site in Power CMS in the past. We purchased the design extender to host the website. We received the website files, created the database on our hosting account, tried importing the files into webassist through dreamweaver, but the CMS does not work. The non-CMS pages display, but the CMS pages give internal server errors. We have updated the PowerCMS file to reflect our database IP and credentials.

Any help?

Not all of the power CMS files have been transferred.

there are many of them that are missing.

the files contains a reference to the CMS/WA_CMS/addtosite.php that does not exist on the server.

include('/home/twilson/public_html/CMS/WA_CMS/addtosite.php');

you need to make sure to transfer all the CMS files from the old server to the new one.

other wise, you need to recreate the CMS in the new site.

Thank you. We never received those files from the previous host. Basically, if we cannot get those files, we will need to recreate the CMS on every page?

Thanks again.

Yes, you would need to recreate the CMS system from scratch.
