Ecart 6 checkout process flowchart ?

Having run the checkout wizard with ecart 6.0.4, I have, after a few false starts, got to the point where I can click on the checkout button on my cart page, which then loads up a checkout (Shipping) form, where I can enter my contact details and choose one of the payment methods I set up.

(Used Paypal ECO as the checkout method)

I have just run he checkout wizard again with ecart 6.0.5 and now, on pressing the checkout button on the cart, i am directed straight to paypal, so I don't get to my checkout form page - as it redirects before the page loads.

Must be to do with the block which loads confirm.php, because if I disable this, the checkout page loads

How do I prevent this without breaking everything else ?

What would be useful is a flowchart to indicate what page sequence the user should expect, (and why) when they choose their payment gateway

(Unfortunately the help is no use here as it points to ecart 5 help files)

Thanks in advance

UPDATE

I deleted all of the files and ran the wizard again, and this time the checkout page loads on clicking the checkout button.

Don't know why it didn't the first time, but it is now OK.

Flowchart is still a good idea though

I can also confirm that the sandbox/live setting also works for paypal ECO, so switching between the two is straightforward with 6.0.5

I did have a problem though with the checkout failure page. I bound the following to the page

<?php echo(PP_ECO_Process_Result("Full Response")) ?>

and I get nothing when the transaction fails.

Just a heads up

Glad to hear it is working.

I will forward your idea for a flow chart to the documentation team.

I prefer to use a var dump o the entire session to the Full response binding:

<?php var_dump($_SESSION); ?>

but will keep my eye out for why the binding is not returning a value.
