question about storing cart contents?
Is it possible to have a users cart stored if they leave the site and come back later?
thanks,

If you set the cart to store in a Cookie Instead of Session, this will be done automatically.
thanks Jason
that works like i want. I set the time to 7 days; is there any downside to the amount of time?
Also, if a shopper has cookies disabled, will the cart still work?
No, no downside to the time.
If cookies are disabled, the cart will not work.
one downside i found after changing object to COOKIES is the Continue Shopping button on the cart.php page does not take you back to the previous page.
I found this code on the cart.php page; not sure if this is what needs changing?
<?php
// WA eCart Continue Shopping
if (isset($_POST["elitestitches_Continue_100"]) || isset($_POST["elitestitches_Continue_100_x"])) {
$Redirect_redirStr="";
if (true && isset($_SESSION['WAEC_ContinueRedirect'])) {
$Redirect_redirStr=siteToPageRel($_SESSION['WAEC_ContinueRedirect']);
}
if ($Redirect_redirStr != "") {
$elitestitches->redirStr = $Redirect_redirStr;
}
$elitestitches->cartAction = "Continue";
}
?>
Could not get the Continue Shopping button to work with COOKIES vs SESSION, so
i deleted the button, inserted the "Btn4_EN_continueshopping.gif" image and added this call javascript from Dreamweaver, onclick="MM_callJS('history.back();')"
It now goes to previous page when clicked.
