jquery form validation

Hi,
I am tryiing to add jquery form validation (new feature in eCart 6) to a form I created using eCart 5.

Currently, there is no validation on the page, so far as i can tell.
i select the form on the page and follow menus:
Webassist>Forms>JQuery validation

The dialog box pops up, allowing me to select which form to apply validation to, etc.

I have choice of two forms. I select the second form.
However, when I try to select the fields to validate, the dropdown for selecting the fields to validate only contains one field. All the other text fields on the page are not in the dropdown.

I have included the code for my page below.

I wondered if you could help me work out why this is happening.

Thanks,

Ben

Seams to be a bug when there is more than one form on the page.

remove the search form from the page to add the validation to the checkout page, really shouldn't have the search form on the checkout page as you want them to complete the checkout and not get distracted by other aspects of the site like searching.

Is there a fix for this bug? This feature isn't really a useful feature with this bug. Why can't these extensions just work for more than your 1 perfect scenerio?

This issue was just reported / discovered yesterday. I have logged the bug in our system to have it corrected in the next update to Data Bridge.

There are a couple work arounds you can use in the mean time, you can remove the first form, then add it back after the validation is applied, or create each form in a separate page, then use Framework builder plugins to add them to the main page.

Thanks Jason.
You fixed my problem. Appreciate your great service. And I like the new jquery validation very much.
All the best,
Ben

There will be an update for Data Bridge available soon to correct this.
