Does PowerStore include the back-end database?

Does PowerStore include the back-end database?

Will I have everything I need to create my Ecommerce website right out of the box? My concern is having to create a database for my products. I need to build a site to sell tires, and I will have a large number of products and categories. Will I need a server or can it be done from a PC?

Thanks a lot,

Luis

Power store is a PHP application that runs on a web server.

your server will need to run PHP 5 and MySQL. The install of Power Store will add tables to a database you create on the MySQL Server to hold the product information.

The administrative back end is accessible through a web browser. you use your web browser to add information to the database.
