I am trying to create a new contact form. the application will work OK, but the preview box will not display anything. This started after I installed eCart 6. I am using windows 8 and dreamweaver CC

What version of Data Bridge is installed? make sure to install the latest version 1.1.8. if you have a previous version, uninstall it from the extension manger before installing the newer one.

If the problem persists, go to WebAssist -> Preferences.

In the preview section, change the preview engine to use one of the other options like web kit.

I did have version 1.1.8 installed. I tried the other preview options, no luck. I uninstalled databridge and reinstalled for the CC version again I tried all of the preview options and none of them will work. Then I removed eCart and started dreamweaver again and the preview still does not display. I looked for the "Preference" tab and now it is gone, so I can't change the previewer. .Reinstalled eCart for CC and "preference" tab is back. Still no "preview"

I have the same issue. Did they find a solution?

They never responded to my request for contact info.

In the WebAssist Preferences panel, what are the settings for the preview?

Make sure the option to disable the preview is not checked, If you have the option to use a different preview engine, try selecting one of the other preview engines like WebKit.

I am having the exact same issue in both CS6, and CC. I am using the latest data bridge (1.18) and the latest e-cart (6.04).
I have tried each of the preview choices (classic ie, webkit, web shot and web shoter), and none of them will show a preview in the preview window.
I have tried toggling off preview (then it correctly shows preview disabled), and re enabling it. It still will not show a preview in the preview window.
When changing a form element or design there is the progress wheel for a second or so, then instead of showing the preview, it just says click to preview in browser.
Any suggestions?

{edit} Interestingly enough, I saw there was a new version of ecart just released today that I hadnt noticed (6.05)... I installed that, and my preview is back, at least in CC. I will do the update in CS6 and see if it works there too.

I removed Dreamweaver CC, went back to CS6 and then reinstalled Data Bridge and eCart and now my preview is working OK. Think I will stay with CS6 for a while.
