About Site Import?

About Site Import?

I have a question about Site Import, I was very interested in the product, but as I read more on it, I found that you can not grab the server code as you say you can only grab what you see in the View Source window. My question is, whats up with this product if you can already have any code you want from the View Source. Why use Site Import? What does it do that I am missing.

It works like a spider, following the links and downloading pages, images, css, and javascript referenced on the page into a local folder.

For getting a single page you would have to view the source, then download each of the images, javascript, and css files associated with it and save them into your local folder. Then follow the links and do the same. It can get hundreds or even thousands of pages and files at a time which would take a while to do by hand.
