How do I change the Shipping costs in eCart?

How do I change the Shipping costs in eCart?

I made my Shipping & Handling £6.95, but when I test this on the server it says the shipping total for 1 item in £17.90. How do I change this figure? I have gone into the eCart object Shipping settings and it says £6.95, but there are 2 x Shipping & Handling for £6.95 and 2 x Shipping & Handling per item for £2. If I try and delete one of each it deletes all of them.

I also want to change my shipping rules so if they are buying a cushion it is £6.95 for a tea towel it is £4.50 and for a greeting card it is £1.75

Also is there a way to get an image of a basket on every page, so the customer can click into their cart from any screen?

Delete the existing duplicated shipping rules, then recreate them.

to charge different rates based on the category, you need to have a category column in the cart object, and in the add to cart button behavior store the category.

then you can create shipping rules that use the calculation:
"Based on items with a specific value"

for example
total of "Quantity" where "Category" has a value of "Cushion" times "6.95"

and another rule for the towels:
total of "Quantity" where "Category" has a value of "Tea Towel" times "4.50"

etc.

You can add a cart display to the pages using the quick cart display type, this will show quantity, total, and a view cart button.

I have done the following: "Based on items with a specific value"

total of "Quantity" where "Category" has a value of "Cushion" times "6.95"

but there is no "Category" I have put "Name" will that work?

What do I put in the Condition section, is it Number of items with a specific column value? and the boxes below it, have attached screen shot.

You have to create the category column in the cart object

and in the add to cart buttons you need to set the category column value.

the trigger for the rules can be number of items sin the cart Greater than 0.
