What is the migration to PROD process?

What is the migration to PROD process?

I have things ready to migrate to the running environment I believe. All elements have been
prepared, SQL backed up locally and pages modified. I have a sub-domain created and
have had some temporary pages in place while the site was being prepared. I also created a
PowerstoreConnection-PROD.php module that points toward a prepared MySQL hosted
database connection. Can you verify what I am about to do?

1. delete everything in my http://mysubdomain.mydomain.com folder
2. copy all files and folders from my localhost PowerstoreFiles folder to the mysubdomain folder
3. point my browser to http://mysubdomain.mydomain.com to start the install process
4. import the SQL file data that was backed up from the localhost MySQL database into the database used in PROD

Done with a couple of issues.....For whatever reason, my ability to run a youtube iframe went away for some reason and my link to a special sae on the front page is still having problems.

1. can you think of a reason that an iframe would have went away?

problem solved....browser issue I think....now I have another question. When I pointed my browser to the website PS never did go into an install process and I never did have to enter the auth key. I figured that was OK because I had modified the connections module and imported the MySQL data base that had been built up on my localhost. Does that seem logical? Hope so.

Also, I tried sending a test contact email but I never did receive that email. What could be the problem?
