What version of eCart is installed?

have you tried uninstalling eCart and installing it again?

try Clicking the cart icon next to the "Add eCart to this site" that should trigger the add button to be accessible.

It's the latest version. I uninstalled it and re-installed it (downloaded again yesterday to make sure) and still nothing.
I tried clicking the cart, it also is grayed out.

eCart issue

I too am having issues with e Cart. The option to create a cart has been disabled. I did manage to create one last night but this is no longer available in any other area of my site. I have had the software less than a week and find it quite annoying that I have to install and uninstall then re install again due to some error or bug.

I was delighted, after countless searches for this type of extension on the web, to choose this software and spend over £500 but now I am beginning to regret that decision.

I am using CS6 which is up to date and super suite which I should hope to be as up to date as is possible.(Data Bridge 1.1.4 - Design Extender 1.1.5 - eCart 5.0.7 Free Tools 1.0.5)

I have deleted the original Webassit eCart folder in my project.

Uninstalled and reinstalled all my software for the second time in a week and still not joy.

Could possibly asking for a refund!!!!!!!!!!!

make sure that the site is defined properly for dynamic development, see the following tutorial for details:
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Define-a-dynamic-site-in-CS5

make sure you have a PHP page open that is saved to the site. If a PHP page from your active site is not open, the eCart floater will not be active.

in the eCart floater window, you may need to click the cart icon next to the "Add eCart to this site" that should trigger the add button to be accessible.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the reply. I have been through the forums looking for a answer to this problem and have followed this advice previously.

I created a new blank php page and saved it.

It now seems to be working. Sorry for the rant.
